I am now bringing out my ninth book, Alternative Medicine Online. It is being officially published by Equinox Press in October, 1997. The publication date of the book is October 15, 1997, and is being celebrated by a booksigning and discussion at the new Barnes & Noble store on Seventh Avenue, Park Slope, Brooklyn. Hope to see you there.

I'm happy to report that the first review of the book was a "rave." It will appear in the Journal of Alternative and Complementary Medicine in a few months. The reviewer is Jackie Wootton, M.Ed., managing editor of that journal, who is also the Informatics Project Director of the R&H Rosenthal Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine at Columbia University in New York. Her review begins as follows:

"The most effective way to start making sense of the vast array of information on the World Wide Web is to have someone sit beside you, transmit their enthusiasms and their irritations, and guide you through. This book provides that experience - it is a provocative companion to alternative medicine information on the Internet, witty and wise, and eminently practical. In this slim volume, Ralph Moss has captured the essence of surfing the Web."

The book is available from any good local bookstore for $12.95 (216 pages). If they don't have a copy they can order it within two to three days. It is published by Equinox Press and distributed by National Book Network (NBN). The ISBN no. is 1-881025-10-1.You can purchase this book at amazon.com.
